The examination laboratory is able to test factory scaled field and horticultural sprayers according to the Hungarian standard MSZ EN 12761:2001.
Besides determining the characteristics of factory scaled sprayers, portable sprayers, seed dressing machines, granule spreaders can also be tested in the laboratory.
The size of the whole examining laboratory area is 552 m2. It consists of machine examining shed, an all-purpose laboratory, a laser laboratory, a workshop, a depository, an office and social rooms.
The size of the machine examining laboratory lets test the crosswise spraying uniformity of field sprayers in one run with a working side of 27 metres and determining the vertical spraying map of horticultural sprayers. It has enough space for the technical deposit measurements and for the use of the inspection bench that is made for check the controlling devices.
Main measuring devices and units of the examining laboratory:
- computer controlled telemetric, ultra sound channel rail for determining cross direction scattering inaccuracy,
- vertical testing stand for checking spraying maps of plantation (horticultural) sprayers,
- hydraulic testing bench for examining controlling devices
- custom-built spray nozzle testing device,
- spectrophotometer,
- portable surface irregularity measuring device
